I must have done something right in the pre-exsistence, because I got to come to earth with my best friend. She has always been right there for me whenever I needed her. She was and still is a great example to me. Everyone asks how it feels to be a twin and I tell them I don't know what it's like to not be a twin. Someday we will live right next door to each other and be able to go to lunch and shop on our birthday,,,, but for today.... Happy Birthday Sis! I love you more than you know!

A long awaited update!

So I have to say I'm sorry to all our loyal fans....I keep checking other blogs and I love to see updates, but have been to busy/lazy to do my own. Since I go back to school tomorrow, I decided today was the day.. Here is a little look at what everyone has been up to....

Mallory:

turned 12 in Oct. ,Loves young womens, still obsessed with Twilight, getting sick of school

great babysitter, an example to her family(especially me)

This was Mallory's big Egyptian project, she of course waited until the last minute but did great!

Sydney:

turned 10 in Oct, fun suprise party, loves to go sledding with friends, still obsessed with shopping (especially shoes), great helper to her mom

I tried to take them sledding but I was freezing, they last a lot longer than me!

Halle:

can't wait to be baptized in April, still a great cleaner, Maverik's favorite friend and punching bag, great at games and puzzles,a very tender heart

Maverik-

still as busy as ever, loves Toy Story and nursery, loves to sing,(favorite is So What!) wants to play the girls Nintendo DS all the time, can melt your heart with the cute things he says

I thought he would hate the snow and sledding, but he loved it! I kept asking him if he wanted to get in the car and he would say "1 more time "

James:

joined me in a contest for $10,000 to try and lose weight, Definitely should have won! (but we didn't) looks better than ever (sorry girls he's taken!) ,went to a hotel and a NASCAR race for his birthday,still in school, remodeled the WHOLE main floor, a great dad and husband!

James has lost 40 pounds! He works out 2 times a day! I am so proud of all his hard work!

Me-

straight A's last semester, didn't do near as good as James in our contest,but loved working out with James, been very busy with school, kids and trying to finish the house, had a blast at NASCAR and can't wait for the races this year...(does that make me a redneck?) love staying home with Maverik and love when the girls get home!

I know we look dorky but we were listening to the drivers talk to their pit crew, and it was SO loud.

I haven't posted on many things that happened this year and I hope to do better! This is my version of a Christmas card, so I hope everyone had a great holiday, we miss all our family in AZ and hope to come back someday...atleast I do! We have atleast a foot of snow outside and it seems to keep coming. I am counting down until spring!Love ya all!

Don't you hate it when people never update their blog! How rude:) Brook came up a couple of weeks ago and we had a lot of fun. I had SEP dinners for PTA and Halle had a field trip, so we didn't get to have a lot of free time, not that we really wanted to take 7 kids too many places. We did decide to go to Build A Bear for Mallory and Sydney's B day! The kids all had fun, although I don't think Maverik and Charly quite understood the concept. So, today has been a crazy day! The countertop guys got here at 8:30(they told me 9 or 10). I was still making breakfast and trying to get the girls ready for school. Sydney came down while I was doing hair and said the guys need to talk to you. So I go upstairs and the guy says, It won't fit. Your cabinets aren't level. And then he stands there and stares at me! So I called my cabinet guy and he came right over and fixed them so they would fit(thanks Tyler). But I am thinking, Isn't this something they should have figured out when they came to measure with their fancy lasers? Not to mention the installer guy was very unfriendly and not very helpful at all. Well during all this time, I guess I wasn't paying to much attention to Maverik and I went upstairs and found my home phone floating in the bathroom sink. UGH! We just had to buy a new one! So the countertop guys leave (I get a free sink) I feed Maverik lunch and then put him in bed. Next thing I know he is walking down the stairs and says HI mom! He has finally figured out how to get out without landing on his head. yeah me! I told James if naptime goes away, I will go crazy. So after making Mav lay down 3 times he finally went to bed! Hallaluah!! I guess I am having a "Calgon take me away" moment! And now the girls will be home soon and Mav will probably wake up! One final note: James is out golfing w/a vendor from work!!

So I was standing IN the kitchen and turned around to see this! I guess he needed a drink of milk:) Can't help but love him!

First Day of School !

Mallory 6th Grade-Lookin Hip! She didn't want to take a pic, but I said I would come to her class and take one if she didn't let me take it. That seemed to do the trick!

Sydney 4th grade-Sassy as ever! She was excited to go to school and see all her friends- The only one who said I could walk with her!

Halle 2nd Grade- Cute new do and ready to go! Her teachers name was Brittney Brown before she got married over the summer! Pretty Cool.

Maverik- 2 years old -He thought he was going to school and he put on his backpack and said Bye mom! He trys to go with the girls everyday! I think he could pass as a kindergartner, ya?My stylin girls and their cute backpacks!

Summer's Almost Over!

This summer has not really turned out as planned. We didn't get a family vacation and house renovations have taken all our time and money. But I have enjoyed sleeping in and having no schedule. The girls start school next week and James and I start the week after that. I think the girls are excited. I am excited, but I hate to see summer go. Here are a couple of things we did do:

Maverik and Anessa turned 2! Since their birthdays are a day apart we had their party together. It was a swim/bbq party w/ tons of food and even more kids! It was a blast.

Mallory and I went with 6 other ladies to a Breaking Dawn Party. We ate at Tucanos and went shopping and then over to Borders bookstore for Trivia and games. Mallory knew all the trivia and won some prizes. We were number 90 in line! We got our books quick! Mallory read for about 3 days straight and then I read it! We loved it.

As soon as I can find my cord to my camera I will have pics of James and Mav at their first fathers and son's outing and our trip to Home Depot to see Tony Stewarts car! And 1st day of school pics soon to come!

I know it has been a long time since I posted. Things have been crazy. In June we went down to AZ for James' Family reunion. We were about 20 miles from the reunion when we got the call that my older brother Ryan had passed away. It is crazy how life can change so quickly. I know that we will all be together again someday, but it makes me sad to know he is gone. I have realized that life is not about what size you are or how much money you have but about being thankful for everyday we have and counting your blessings. I will miss Ryan and his great sense of humor. I can see his smile every time I look at his 2 beautiful girls. My sister Steph said it the best- We are 10 strong no matter what. I love you Ryan.

So since Nan doesn't have a blog yet (or is still in the works?) Everyone has to see the cute stuff she has been doing. She has been working with her friends Joe and Jermone(?) at their new antique shop, Barnhouse. Check out their blog and you can see some of Nan's stuff. We had such a fun time visiting. Mom and Briley are going to have so much fun up there! I am a little jealous. Nan says it's even prettier now than we went, if that is possible. I love ya Nan, You are so talented! I'm going to post new pics soon but right now I am too lazy to get them off my camera! So since James and I finished this semester I thought I would be getting so much done! Organizing the house, blogging, paying bills, but I'll I do is lay around! And I have to say I LOVE it! I play with Maverik and maybe go to the store but when Maverik is asleep, I either take a nap or read a book! Maybe someday I will get bored and do something but right now I love doing absolutely NOTHING!

We recently reached a major milestone with our Dodge. 100,000 miles and still going strong. This event occured on my most recent trip to AZ for work.

I always end up doing a lot of thinking when I drive, which to Britt's defense, does get me in a lot trouble.

In the four years we have had our truck we have gone through the following...

5,800+ gallons diesel fuel consumed

180+ fill ups

20 oil changes equaling 60 gallons of oil

Countless number of trips to AZ

One new set of tires

My most recent addition is the RanchHand Bumper replacement that I got from my good buddy Alan. Not only is it massive and beefy, it is also bomb proof and comes with a 15K winch option. Thanks Alan for the bumper and helping me get it mounted up. Haven't hit anything with it yet, but I feel sorry for what ever is brave enough to jump out in front of my truck (insert evil laugh here).

Nan's house is so cute! We had a lot of fun at the Falls. It was raining but still cool!

Ok, I have been wanting to post pics for awhile now, but things got crazy when we got home, homework, sick kids and James still working 24/7. But we had so much fun in Washington and Oregon! It was beautiful and we were glad we got to go! Thanks to Nan & Lynn for letting us stay! Our kids had so much fun visiting their cousins and cried when we had to leave. Thanks to Nan for decorating and making a cake for Halle! We loved everything! Even Maverik throwing a fit at Buffalo Wild Wings.

I can't believe we have been married for 12 years! Where does the time go? I have to tell everyone the top five reasons I love my husband

1. He always makes me laugh (sometimes almost making me choke to death)

4.He can fix anything(atleast I think he can) and always fills my car with gas!

Our school won a contest for reading and got to have a Jazz player come. Mallory's class read the most and so they got a picture with Jaron Collins. I was helping take the picture so I grabbed Mallory and got a pic with Jaron, He also signed Mallory's shirt. It was cool!

Just trying to update my blog. I wish I was more computer savvy, but oh well. I wanted to say thanks to my mom, sisters and ecspecially James for a great weekend away. I love AZ and the weather was great! I missed my kids a lot. (still trying to convince James to move back) It was a great break from our crappy weather!! STILL SNOWING!! okay I know everyone was glad to see my blog finally change, but I haven't been blogging lately because I'm really homesick and it sucks to see everyone having fun without us!!(Amazing Race, Snow, Shopping) Maybe it is this crappy weather but I feel like I'm going crazy here! I wish I could just call one of my many sisters and say meet me at the park for lunch! I was talking to Brook today and I know we could have both used a reason to get out! I just want to tell all my SISTAS, I love you guys! Maybe some day my girls will stop fighting long enough to realize how cool sisters are!

I can't believe my last post was in Nov! We have been very busy. We had a great holiday and are getting back to school and our busy schedule. I miss everyone SOOO much! I can't hardly read everyone's blogs! We especially miss the AZ weather! Yesterday the weather was so bad! Mallory called me from school and said they weren't letting anyone walk home and the buses weren't coming because the roads were so bad!

So I had to pick them up and then I had to take Maverik to the Dr. and then we went to James work so Mallory could do her science fair project and then I went to school only to find out they had closed the campus! It was a crazy day!

Hannah Montana Rocks!!

We love Hannah Montana! I heard on the news on Fri. that they still had tickets for the Hannah Montana concert on Sat. which I heard was sold out. So after much debating I bought 4 tickets and the girls and I went to see Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus!! We had so much fun!! It was definitely worth it. Although Halle was a little disappointed we couldn't get her autograph!! Oh yeah and the Jonas Bros. performed too! It was a BLAST!

Okay, I love my son sooo much but today I'm ready to pull my hair out. He is all over the place! If I am doing the dishes, he wants to stand on the dishwasher, if I sweep he runs over and scatters my pile, if I try to do homework he wants to climb in my lap and then onto the table. I let him eat a sucker for breakfast while I got the girls ready for school. I don't know where that sucker is come to think of it? Cabin Fun!!

So I guess Brook and Travis felt bad for us last weekend cause they were going to Grandma and Grandpa Tuttles cabin and as they were almost there, they called and invited us to come for the weekend. We decided it would be much more fun than doing homework! And believe me it was! We all had fun! Of course, James favorite moment was when the huge moose came right up to the cabin! so i'm still trying to get over the fact that we don't live in Arizona. i'm so bummed when it was time to leave. i just love every thing about AZ, the weather the smell the sites i see, even the air i breathe. i just loved the warm weather when we were down there, but i especially loved the nice warm rain. in Utah were we live it doesn't rain that much and not as long. i cant wait for school to start i sometimes wish school could never stop, but then again sometimes i think i've lost it, everyone could use a nice long summer vacitaion. so we start school on the 21st, i can not believe most of you already started! it is just crazy, at first you wonder when summer vacaition is going to end but then when it does think were did all the time go? i miss every one so much its krazy!! miss you guys a ton!! love ya all -MALLORY

Okay so we are having major post vacation depression! We had such a fun time! Thanks so much mom for letting us stay! I know it was crazy, but we loved every minute of it! Thanks to Scott for taking us to the lake and being patient with me (I suck at water skiing). I thought we were going to have to leave Mallory there because she did NOT want to come back! Luckily we will be back in Sept for Joelyn's Wedding. Only 7 weeks Yeah! We love AZ!!

So last week Shelby& her family came to visit! We had a blast! It was kinda crazy with 10 kids, but it was so much fun! This is Tues. at the Zoo! Maverik loved the animals and would cry if we walked away!

Wednesday we went to Temple Square. It was fun!

Thursday we went to Park City and did the Alpine Slides and outlet shopping! I think it was my favorite day. I don't know if Brady would say the same. He got to the top of the lift and decided he would rather walk down! Scott was overjoyed to walk him back down the mountain!

Friday we went to Seven Peaks water park and Iceberg. The kids had a great time. Maverik and Finley just wanted to play on the tubes!

Maverik is finally walking! It is crazy to be in the kitchen and see him walk by! It is so cute! It is crazy how fast time flies. I feel like he was just born. He is such a good baby! We love him!

So we have had a lot of fun just hanging out with the Tuttles. We went to the 10 mile race on Sat and had a birthday party for Mav on Sunday. Other than that we have just been lounging around. We are going to take the kids to the aquarium today. It should be fun. Will is such a riot and my girls are loving taking care of Charly.

Summer Plans

So we started our summer plans a little early. Last week I got the girls out of school early and we went to the Living Planet Aquarium. We have been wanting to go and we had a lot of fun. We are so excited for summer! We have been talking about what we want to do this summer and here is our list:

1. Play in our pool(little plastic pool) -Syd

2. Play with friends- Halle

3. go to the aquarium again study about marine life-Mallory

4. go to movies to see Pirates 3- Syd

5. Go to AZ and see Grandmas fun pool and have a pool party!- Mom & Girls

6. Sleepovers-Mallory

7. movie night in pj's-Syd

8. Have a birthday party for Maverik-Halle

9. Camping-Dad

10. Do school work-Mallory

11. Party with the Tuttles-mom

I'm trying to explain to the girls that we have the whole summer and we don't have to do something everyday! But we are ALL so excited for vacation!

Yes our cute baby boy is ONE! Where does the time go? I have to say at 4:30 this morning I was ready to lose it! I know it's his birthday but what happened to my great sleeping baby? He has been waking up a lot and last night was up from 4:30-7 am!! So I am going a little crazy today! I think it is because he is getting 4 teeth! I just hope he feels better soon, for both our sakes! But who can be upset with such a sweet baby who loves to smile and is happy most of the time! We LOVE having him in our family!! Happy Birthday Mav!

1 Year

Well, it is hard to believe the one year ago we were in the hospital about ready to have Maverik (aka Junior). What a wild ride the last year has been. After a 5 year drought, I was certain we were in for trouble with a new baby. Heck, it had bee 3 years since we had to worry about diapers.

With 3 beautiful girls, another man around the house was a welcomed blessing. Now the odds are 2 to 1 instead of 4 to 1.

Junior has been a lot of fun and I think the ride is just starting and we have many more adventures. That assuming he makes it to his next birthday. Lately he has gotten out of his sleeping habits and I think Britt is ready to kill the little squirt.

So , I am sitting here blogging when I should be cleaning. Like I said, I hate to clean. For the last week Halle has had a differernt theme for kindergarten each day! Today was Pirate Day. We borrowed some stuff from a friend and I made a fake eye patch. I thought she looked so cute. She has had cookie day, bubble day, watermelon day, teddybear day and tommorow I am going to help with beach day! It has been really fun. Except on teddy bear day I sent her with a bear and then after she left I found her paper and it said she was supposed to bring a snack and some books! I felt so bad! When I picked her up I said, "were you supposed to have a snack?" She said, "yeah but the teacher had wheat thins" Thank goodness! She said the teacher let her use her books too. That is just me lately, a day late and a dollar short! Oh well!

Race Weekend

Yesterday we ran in a 5k race. I ran with my friends and James pushed Maverik in the stoller. It was very fun. The race was Running with Angels and was a benefit run for a couple of different causes. The weather was warm but nice. I had my fastest 5k (out of 3 :). My time was 26:56. I was very excited. One of my friends, Jen was 25:12 and my other friend was like 50:00. James was around 50 min too. Maverik slept the whole time in the baby jogger. If anyone has done a race, you know how fun it is and the adrenaline you have. In Feb. we (my sisters and I) ran London's Run. It was Awesome!! I hope we can all do it next year!!

So, I laughed so hard reading Courtney & Lee's quirks. I thought it was great. I was thinking of some of my quirks and here is what I came up with

1. I love to sing with my ipod(so I can't hear myself) I think I am great and could make it on American Idol. James said I sound like a dog that is dying. So I guess American Idol will have to wait.

2. I love reality shows. I like really weird ones like who is going to be the next Pussycat Doll and the one with Nick and Aaron Carter. But my favorite is Biggest Loser and I think it is so motivating.

3. I am REALLY afraid of frogs. I know it is weird but they freak me out. I don't mind spiders or snakes, not that I love them but I have an actual fear of frogs. Frogaphobia??

4. I like guys with facial hair. I don't know why but I just think it's cool.

5. I hate it when people tell me to SHh! I know it is dumb, but I would rather someone say shut up or be quiet but I don't like when someone says shh!!

6. I love to dance, but unfortunatley Brook got all the dance moves. I just try to copy and not look so dumb but I still love to dance!

7. I hate the snow and if I see a weather report that says it is going to snow, I am depressed the rest of the day. I love summer time and seeing the sun makes me happy.

8. Like Brook, I love sports too, ecspecially baseball.(I think we can thank Judy for that). I don't mind watching Sports Center and lately I have been watching the NBA playoffs. Go Jazz!!

9. I think my kids are the bomb-diggity. I am sure everyone does but sometimes I just look at them and think, they are so cute! I am blessed with a wonderful family.

10. I hate to clean. I refuse to clean at night. I am sure most everyone hates it but I would rather do anything than clean(except maybe the dentist which I am also afraid of). I wish I loved to clean and be organized, but I would rather do something else, like reading all the funny blogs.

Okay so this was fun. I like reading everyones blogs. It makes me feel more in touch with what is going on in AZ!

Fun Weekend!

Okay so we had a very fun weekend. I went to Park City to go shopping with 3 of my friends and James took the kids camping. I met up with him after we were done. Shopping was very fun, except two of my friend's husbands kept calling and saying" when are you coming home?". I never get to go shopping without kids running around or a someone saying when are you coming home? Oh well, the life of a mother I guess. I have to say my husband was great and didn't rush me! Although, he was busy trying to take 4 kids camping. After we were done in Park City, James and I met up and went back to Yuba Lake to camp another night. It was very fun except, Maverik wasn't feeling well. He was throwing up and his eyes were very red and goopey. I have to take him to the Dr. today. Other than that we had a great time. It was a fun weekend. Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers!

Hi Everyone,

I am knew to this whole blog thing so it will take a while for me to figure out. After I saw Brook's, I wanted to do one for my family. We are still in Utah, although I am trying to get James to come back to AZ. I miss everyone very much down there and can't wait to see Charly!! Her pics are so cute. James and I just finished another semester of school and I must brag and let every know I got straight A's and maintained my 4.0 GPA! We are taking a break for Summer!! Yeah!! The girls are sick of us always doing homework and taking tests. Although now we play softball 3 nights a week. James plays on Mon & Thurs. and we play coed on Fri. We will see how long that lasts.! Well hopefully I can figure this thing out and get more pics up soon!
